On Saturday, we took a trip to Olathe, KS- a town about 45 minutes away to visit the Deanna Rose Farmstead. It is a fairly large area of open land that is used to house a variety of farm animals. We were able to explore cows, baby goats, ponies, ducks, chickens, fish, pigs, rabbits, and baby chicks (Aiden's favorite- NOT!!). We were able to get up close to all of the animals and explore their homes. Aiden absolutely loved feeding the baby goats, but was terrified of the chickens and baby chicks. It was a super cool experience and we are so glad to have had the opportunity to experience it.
