Christmas Eve
What its all about... traditions!
So yet another holiday has come and gone without Mike. Christmas was absolutely hard as heck to get through with Mike being deployed. Lots of crying took place as well as lots of smiles. He was able to join us Christmas morning via Skype to see the kids presents as well as to present Aiden with his Powerwheels Jeep. If it were not for the family, I don't know how we would have made it through.
On Christmas Eve, we went to mass and then came home and had dinner and ended the night on the levee for the bonfires. It was surely a great time. We came home and prepared for Santa and hit the sac.
On Christmas morning, I had to wake up Aiden (yes, seriously) and then we opened gifts from Santa. The big hit was Powerwheels Jeep, Buzz Lightyear, and Tea set for Hallie. The kids got lots of gifts and it was an exhausting day. Next holiday, new years!!
