Block Leave Time!

Mike took 2 weeks of block leave time before returning to work here at Ft. Bragg. We tried to do a little something with the kids each day to keep them busy. We went to Waldo's Beach which is a water park/lake area very close to our house. We had a play day with the Kinards- super fun!  We went Blueberry picking and played at Chuck E Cheese. We did lots of shopping and eating treats.  The last thing we did for our time together was took a short trip to the beach. We spent 2 nights at Wrightsville Beach. This beach is only about 2 hours from our house so it was super convenient. We played on Wed afternoon, Thu morning, and Thu afternoon. Then, on Friday morning we went to the Fort Fisher Aquarium- which was about another 30 minutes away. We had a great vacation together, but are ready to start getting into the rhythm of our daily lives.
