The past couple of weeks have been a little rough for the Westerhaus Family. Aiden & I had a stomach bug a couple weeks ago and are currently getting over a very bad cold. Aiden has been to the doctor twice and has been diagnosed with Strep throat, as well as an upper respiratory infection. Aiden was brought to the ER (no appts left at the hospital, go figure!!) b/c he was screaming every 10 minutes. We found out that his health is fine, but he is cutting his 1 year molars. His gums are very red and swollen. Poor guy has been in so much pain lately. He has been on lots of meds and has been very, very cranky. His appetite has also been very bad. But, on the brightside, he just turned 14 mths old!!!
Aiden has developed a lot this month.
- He took his first steps at about 13 1/2 mths. He has finally really mastered the skill. Sometimes it seems as if he is trying to run.
- He has learned to stand directly from the ground.
- He can say No, identify ALL animals as a pup =), and he can identify his ears
- He has developed a very stubborn personality with a bad attitude- don't know where he gets that from =)
- He continues to be very inquisitive & persistent
