On Friday night, Aiden and I decorated some mini king cakes in the spirit of Mardi Gras.

This afternoon, we went to Thibodaux for 2 Mardi Gras parades. The weather was beautiful, the sights were MOSTLY appropriate and the kids had a great time. We caught gobs and gobs of beads, over 20 Nerf type balls, stuffed animals, and cups. We enough throws to last for a lifetime. The only thing that would have made this better was having Mike here with us.... maybe next time.
